Essentially Styling,

The concept of my blog came to my mind after I started using Young Living essential oils, I wanted to find a way to post about my passion for the oils and also express my fashion style.

I always felt trapped in my own head because I thought I had only focus on one passion in my life. My first and biggest passion which is my business, I’m an owner of a babysitting company here in Los Cabos, all my twenty’s I devoted 100% to my company and now I’m in my late 20’s and this new chapter of my life has kept me thinking it’s actually not selfish to pay attention to my other passions.

My thoughts on starting my own blog happened when I was introduced to Young Living, thank you to my good friend Sara Richardson I bought my first kit and became a member of this amazing community, it made me realize I’m still a human with dreams and passions and they must be pursued :)

I was terrified of starting posting about it at first as a lot of people fear “What they will think of me?” people will judge me? maybe that I’m too naive to think I can start to blog when this era now it’s the most “common” “cliche” thing to do… but one day I woke up and I decided to go for it, no matter what, I rather express myself than always wonder what if I did it? …

So here I am finally doing my first blog post, these pictures are the first ones my husband took of me for my first “photo shooting” outfit haha, I loved how much effort I put on this look, it may not seem like it but I did lol.

We went to Acre for a cocktail with friends, before the other couples arrive we took some pictures and I loved the result, I feel so happy to look back at this day and remember it was the beginning, I finally went out of my comfort zone and start posing in front of people… The most awkward thing ever still is but hey no good pictures are taken without a little embarrassment.

This past year I think one of the biggest trends was animal prints, especially leopard, silk fabrics, slip dresses very elegant and girly, I bought this skirt in F21 and the bodysuit, the handbag is the Gucci GG Marmont mini bag in black, my first and only designer bag at the moment, my husband gave it to me as a Christmas present last year and I was so excited and over the moon, I always wanted to have a designer bag. Fair enough to say that I did not receive any presents on my birthday since he spent so much in x-mas haha, I know some people think designer bags are overrated but to me, it has always been my dream, also not to mention that the quality is actually worth it and I plan to take care of it a lot! and in the future, I can give it to my granddaughters and it will be very meaningful. I do believe in investing in good pieces that you can style over and over again.
